Hey Y'all how have you been? This week took forever it feels
like the transfer should be over and it has only begun. I love my companions
they are both the best!
This week we have seen some awesome miracles! this one family in the ward is a less active family and they have a 10 year old girl named Ana who hasn't been baptized yet and I've been trying to get into their house for the last like 2 months. So finally me and my companions Elder Cronan and Grover do a Cookie Ministry where we make cookies and we took them all over and they turned out really well! Anyways so we finally get into their house and all it took was to being some cookies so we set up an appointment on Friday to come over and we talk about the Atonement and then the mom out of the blue wants Ava to be baptized we didn't even bring it up she did and asked to have the lessons! It was so Awesome, the power of Cookies
We had another person who referred herself and she called herself a fat Kim Kardashian without the sin and anyways she sounded so promising and then guess what she searched up Mormon on YouTube and there is never anything good that pulls up when you do that just a bunch of Anti. So she wants nothing to do with us now.
Went and knocked on some doors in minus degree weather and actually found two people and maybe a family so I guess we will see what happens with them!
Wisconsin Culture: A lot of people in Wisconsin hibernate where they don't really come out of their houses from end of December to beginning of March they really just stay inside because it can be so cold. Especially with people now working from their homes why would they leave.
