So I'm getting Transfered for the first time. It was a whole
ordeal. President Murphy threw me through the ringer. So we have Transfer calls
where everyone is on a zoom call and president calls on every companionship
that is getting Transfered and he didn't call Fond du Lac. Then he made his
announcement "If I didn't call your name then you are safe and you can go
to bed" right as I heard that we all flipped out. So we leave the call and
we are getting ready for bed and it is 10:10pm and Elder Cronan is actually
going in for a bath but right before that the APs call us up and said "hey
could you Elders get back on the zoom call." so we do, I feel like I'm
going to have a stroke because I thought I was getting transfered then I didn't
and then President Murphy asked me if I could go to Waukesha with Elder
Truscott who was Elder Cronan's last companion. So anyways I woke up today and
thought it was all a dream but it wasn't. Anyways I know the Lord has a plan
for me and maybe that was one of his tests.
Well this week we talked to this one guy who was complaining about how masculine our church is and how when we walked across the plains to Utah that the woman had to walk. Anyways then we told him about relief society and that everyone had to walk. I don't think he was interested at all in hearing what we had to say, he used his brain too much.
We also had right before the president talked about transfers he talked about how the only place comparable to the sacredness of the temple is the Home. That even though I can't go to the Temple or some of you might not be able to go. That our homes should be a place and can be a place of sacredness and holiness
Love you all so much!
Wisconsin Culture: I went this week to get Starbucks hot chocolate and it was almost 5 bucks and not even that good. Then I go to Kwik Trip and it cost more than half of that and it tastes better!
