First off I just want to say that the temple is something I
took for granted I already miss it. We have like 50 in Utah and there are none
in Wisconsin its so sad. Please for me go to the temple. Listen to what has
been said about temples in this last general conference those things will keep
us safe and protected from the adversary.
Anyways off of my little rant there its been a great week!
We were thinking of going door to door during Halloween and instead of them
giving us candy we give them copies of the Book of Mormon: ) I thought it was
pretty funny and it never happened.
I also don't know if other missionaries have done this in
the past but we are asked as companions to roleplay to practice the lessons and
different stuff like that a lot so we usually roleplay to a hand sanitizer
container that has Grogu or baby yoda on the front.
Had my first person I taught that pulled out a notebook of
questions and that was really fun
Been playing a lot of ukulele and guitar. Elder Hatch has
taught me how to play a couple of songs on the guitar
Been going on runs in the morning ( I hate it haha)
I'm so grateful to be serving the Lord I could see how this
can be the best two years for my life. I have learned to love the scriptures, I
depend on them! And prayer. I'm so grateful for these two things. If you are
not doing one or both of these things please do them, or do them more
often love you all and thanks for all of your support!
Wisconsin culture: there is something called a kwik trip and
literally everyone goes there its the best gas station you'll ever find and a
lot of missionaries get big buddies which is just a soft drink cup I guess
there a big thing.
