Hey Yall how's it going yet?
This week was awesome I got to leave my companion for a couple of hours. During zone conference we went into break out rooms and got separated from our companions but don't worry the Mission President knew about it (sorry if you didn't already know we have to stay with our companions 24/7 unless one of us is in the restroom or in an interview or giving a baptismal interview)
We found this girl named Maria and she is awesome! She was duck watching at a pond. I asked her if she wanted to hear a message about Jesus Christ and she said "yes of course" that day we were getting the cold shoulder and there are a little more people here in Stoughton than in Dodgeville but not by much. So anyways we had to leave because we were off to an appointment and so I asked if we could get her phone number and she said "no I don't feel comfortable giving out my phone" so I was like okay understandable how about if we get your Facebook and she said "sorry my Facebook is like my safespace so sorry no" and I said well could we get your address and you guessed it she said no. So I had no idea what to do so I said "what about if I gave you our number? Would you call it?" And she said you guessed it "no I don't feel comfortable doing that." Soooo I was like okay what if we meet back here at the pond on Tuesday at 1pm sound good" and she said yea that works and the next Tuesday SHE ACTUALLY SHOWED UP! She was literally taking notes she knows nothing about God and Jesus Christ, she knew they existed, and she knew about Noah and the Ark haha so it was definitely a Rollercoaster and she even amazoned herself a Bible even though we offered her one. She said "I looked up what Bible you use and you use the KJV so I got one of those" it was awesome. Anyways I've been talking for a while bit we've taught her the restoration and the plan of salvation. It feels so good to teach someone who never had a knowledge of these things and not because you opened up your mouth they do.
I just want to bear my testimony that if you pray for Opportunities to share the Gospel. I Promise (that even in Utah) you will find opportunities to share it with those around you. Love you all! Si se Puede!
Wisconsin Culture: the Skies out here are so big! When you don't have mountains to convert them it looks like they go on for forever it is the craziest thing ever it feel like your looking at half of the world. Also falls here its getting so pretty
