Hello all of you Disciples of Jesus Christ! Good Morning!!!
So I was getting all sweet and sentiment and started reading my journal when I was in the MTC and it was crazy all the memories just started to rush in (shout out to my MTC district #THEBECKS) and the past year I have had the greatest loneliness and the greatest Joy and Happiness I could have ever imagined. Its been a crazy ride. Also I have been in Wisconsin my entire life (I don't know who said your mission goes by fast but you are crazy)
Had some fun crazy interactions of this one guy saying he killed 96 people in self defense because his cousin was getting abducted at the airport. And then another guy we were talking to (bless his soul) said he quit smoking 2 years ago but in the process gained 35 pounds in 2 months because he was eating a gallon of Ice cream, a pound of Tootsie pops and oh also 18 POTS of coffee a day. I honestly can't make this stuff up. Its been a party over here in Dodgeville.
Also had 2 cool experiences this week. The first one was this guy Said that our church was false and that he prayed about it and its not true two weeks ago. Then 2 weeks later he randomly calls us and says he's been at rock-bottom and he wanted to pray with us so we did and I had the impression to put him on baptismal date and he said yes. The spirit was definitely there (sadly he is ghosting us but hey its all good). Then the next cool experience is that someone we are teaching just figured out she had Cancer and so we went over to teach a lesson and I had an impression to offer to give her a Priesthood Blessing so We do and I had the blessing of giving the blessing and the one thing I remember was a Vivid Impression to say "it will all work out you will be okay" about her cancer and it was very cool the spirit was definitely there. I sure hope that it comforted her
I know God Loves all of his children. I can testify and Witness that there is a God in Heaven who gave His Son to suffer and be crucified from each of us so we could return to Live with them. That Jesus Christ is Pure Love he is the absolute definition of Love. No power is More powerful than His Atonement. That without it we could not be with God or our families for eternity. And I say those things in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Wisconsin Culture: its weird they have grave plots above ground here in like cement boxes above the ground. I did not see that in Utah
-Went to Darlington and they had some fun things to look at like the Darlington Memorial, a freaking tank, bald eagle statue, and a cool courthouse
