The Spirit of God

So this week was totally radical! Hope you all had a Good week and Hapoy 4th of July. I am so grateful for the freedom of religion and how we are able to worship how we want. It was most definitely divinely inspired!

So I had another crazy miracle happen! They should call Dodgeville the land of Miracles! So we have our friend named Curtis who was referred to us from some other elders like 2 months ago and so we were trying to get in contact and everything we set up with him never worked out. We'll we finally had a call with him and shared the restoration. And he was saying all the right things it felt like the MTC where they have people act and do roleplays with us missionaries, Well it felt like that. He was talking about how he always knew there was something more, and how he always wanted to draw closer to Jesus Christ and God and didn't know how to do that. So we talked about Joseph Smith and we said the first vision and he was actually in the woods when we called him to get peace and he got chills as we talked about the first vision and the experience was so so cool! The spirit was so strong! And so we talked about the Book of Mormon and he was so Excited, we talked to him about how to pray, and then I shared with him 2 Nephi 31:5 "And now, if the Lamb of God, he being holy, should have need to be baptized by water, to fulfil all righteousness, O then, how much more need have we, being unholy, to be baptized, yea, even by water!" And I was like Hey Curtis you need to be baptized and he was like okay and he was really happy and he said that I need this for myself. Then he said he was going to invite his family. Then later that day he texts us about his whole family wanting to get baptized! I was in shock haha it was so so cool! I honestly don't have words 

Something way awesome was we had a Sunday prayer with our new mission President and His wife sister Hansen (yes President and Sister Murphy are gone) and President Hansen said the prayer for us and in the prayer he used his priesthood Authority to call down Angels to help us in this work. The spirit was so strong. There is no doubt that President and Sister Hansen were called of God I have no doubt in my mind about that they are.

I love you all so much your all the best! Isn't it such a blessing that we are led by a modern day Prophet it is such a blessing! Watch out for deer : )

Wisconsin Culture: I don't know maybe it is a thing here but a lot of people especially when I first got out on my mission bashed about how green it was in Wisconsin compared to Utah. So I guess the people here are very prideful about the place that they live : ) but don't tell them I said that to you 

1. Went and picked some weeds at the Woods house and we weeded in the garlic field and anyways I couldn't feel my hands after I guess they've been softened up

2. Also I guess this is a spider wasp it was in our apartment and I trapped it between the screen and window and then we let it free and we weren't stung at all it was a great relationship
