Ummmmm i ate a coconut cake?

If you haven't noticed yet my subject lines usually have nothing to do with my letter and today that is still the case. (Bait and switch? : ))

We were walking around on Tuesday and saw no one except for Ted the Mail carrier (that is how he introduced himself to us) he knew a little bit about our church but wasn't interested in hearing our message but very nice it felt like we were friends afterwards he gave us advice to have communication skills and that will get us far.

Had a Scary District Council on Thursday where the Assistants (APs) and President and Sister Hansen. But it was great! It was like a mini zone conference. President Hansen talked about the Mindset of Jesus Christ and that he could even find Joy in the Cross. That he wasn't happy and it was most definitely painful but we can find joy in our most pain if we have an outward mindset and turn towards others. That was Jesus Christ's life he never had a pity party about how he had to take upon him the Atonement but because he loved us and turned outward he was able to do that.

Went on an exchange with Elder Doty our district Leader and he was so fun to be around He knew Elder Truscott and Elder Cronan (two of my past companions) and he could do spot on impersonations of them. Kind of scary actually haha. But it was great we were able to talk to a bunch of people. 

Also this weekend Elder Thompson has been sick with stomach pain and stuff so I've been just reading the scriptures a lot got to finish Mark in the New Testament and the end of Matthew. It is so cool to read about the Life of Jesus Christ! I have the goal to know who Jesus Christ is and when I see him face to face that I will know him as my friend. It makes you want to be a better person learning about Him. He is truly our Exemplar.

I also hit my 18 months! What!

Wisconsin Culture: haha it was like 20 degrees with windchill and this guy was walking around with shorts and a t shirt. What are people doing here? I guess the sun was technically out, it wasn't doing anything but he didn't care.

4. Video is of our neighbors little dog who always barks at us. Without fail if that sliding glass door is open he is barking at us (the owners are hoarders so maybe that is why he is so mad all the time)
