Elder Parker Beck: Jerry the Unicorn

I forgot to write a wisconsin culture last time. So don't you worry any more because I am going to write two today. Oh yea! So this week was so good! Fond du Lac is such a blessed area!

So this week we found someone else and her name is Kylar and she is the absolute best! Her testimony is so strong. She was taught like 3 years ago and she just wasn't ready for the gospel so now she is back full throttle and she was referred to us by a member and the member work has been so awesome here we have such amazing members! Anyways she is on baptismal date for December 19th and we just found her this last Tuesday so anyways its crazy! The first lesson we had with her the spirit filled the room it was unlike anything I had felt or I've only felt it a couple of times and my heart was so full for the longest time even after the lesson it was so awesome and she even came to institute with us! When were talking about the definition of Elect. She is Elect!

Also at institute crazy story our institute teacher at institute while Kylar and Ahzahdae (another friend) was there. We were talking about the plan of salvation having a discussion about it and we get to the part about death and he just collapses in his chair just goes unconscious and then comes to his senses and then starts well to put it lightly stuff starts coming up so we call an ambulance and we find out he got covid so we call our medical person over our mission (super sweet lady) and she says as long as we don't have any symptoms were fine not to get a covid test but then she kind of encourages us to get our booster shot so we took her advice and got it the next day. Then yesterday me and Elder Cronan were suffering. Like I was so hot and cold and to put it in the words of Elder Cronan " it felt like we were beaten with baton multiple times all over our body" so we were so sore and dead the whole day it was really rough.

Also had our christmas zone conference and it was very awkward because we were told we were going to play a musical number but it never happened so I brought my Ukulele in and everything and it never happened so haha! 🐢

Anywaya don't want to make this letter too long I know you have places to be and dishwashers to replace so I'll just Leave you with. I am so Grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ and for the opportunity to bring it into the lives of others. There is no greater gift. I like what Kylar said she said "this is the greatest Christmas gift, to be baptized" and so we don't know how good we have it. Love you all! God is good!

Wisconsin Culture: they call a microwave a nuker. "Just warm it up over there in the Nuker Yet : )". Also this is more of a mission thing I don't know if its a world wide thing or a just thr wisconsin Milwaukee mission but when things are awkward we put our fingers into guns and point them at each other like this 👉👈
