Hey Y'all! How's life treating you? Well this week has been
such a blessed week. We had a Baptism yesterday and it turned out so well it
was for our friend Kylar and she is the absolute best. She was so prepared and
everything fell into place. We had one of Kylars friends baptise and confirm
her a member of the church. Anyways amazing day she is awesome! There was also
a lot of support from the ward with help teaching her and coming to her
baptism!
It was also my Mom's birthday! And I was able to talk with her also my companion Elder Cronan did as well : )
We also took a self tour of Marian University, the college across the street because it was empty for the break and it was a nice school! Anyways fun little things
I want to say that I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That around his birth I get to preach his gospel, what he taught 2000 years ago! I love this Christmas season hopefully we give thanks to God for all of our many blessings and try to remember that Christmas is about Christ and I invite you to draw closer to him this Christmas season. Love you all!
Wisconsin Culture: okay so crazy thing I just figured this out yesterday that in Germfask that is part of our mission we have the smallest church building in North America. Apparently yesterday they had 4 people including the two missionaries that went to church.
1. My mom gave me the 12 days of Christmas and always included my companion in them so this time she got us those ties and the picture of the first vision
2. at marian
3. At marian
4. Got a funny ring toss thing that goes on your head and
the velcro thing broke first day so...
5. Fond du lac
6. So I bought spreckers which is soda anyways the bagger
grabs a thing to hold them in and its a beer box so don't worry I didn't break
the Word of Wisdom that will be on the last day of the mission
7. One of the spreckers I got
8. Went to this place called Fuji Yummy Steakhouse with the
Hambricks and it was great food!
9. Crappy photo but this was at the Seibert Family Christmas show and they have a huge family and there were no black sheep all of them knew how to sing it was way good. And we went with a couple ward members
10. I done singed myself. I was heating something that was
frozen and had the broiler on and my hand went too high and I now respect more
the heat of the oven. I've also used a bunch of bandaids because rverytime one
gets wet you have to change it so fun.
