Counted Worthy to Suffer Shame for His Name

Hello my name is Elder Beck and I'm a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. If your reading this you are either a friend or a family member. So congratulations!

Well this week was pretty great! So we were getting scared and bored of just going up to people and asking them if they wanted to hear a message. Because 9 times out of 10 they would say no. So in CDC our ZL briefly talked about last transfer him and his companion trying something new and asking people to do a survey about God. And the spirit was telling me to try that! So we did : ) and two days ago was our first day doing it and it was a major success. There was no one out. (At least where we were) and we talked to 3 people the only 3 people we saw in that hour or so. And the third lady was way fun. As we were walking up to her she said to another lady she probably knew "Come over here and shoot these guys I don't have my gun!" So I walk up to the lady and say "Hows it going? We are missionaries asking people a Yes or No survey about God. Would you be interested in participating?" She looks at me and then just flips me off. So I say "Okay God Bless" and as I'm turning away she just starts laughing. So that was fun haha

Acts 5:41 "¶ And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name." And don't feel bad I had a sense of peace come over me when she did that it didn't affect me at all. God truly does look out for all of us!

But Yesterday we did the survey thing again for only 30 minutes and found a group of 3 people doing it! And shared the restoration and they were awesome! God does love his children and it was insane to have a not so good day two days ago and only a day later were able to see the blessings of God poured out upon us

Also it must be pretty bad when every person I talk to on the street is talking about our corrupt government haha. I guess the end times are really coming or just people out here are funny

Love you all! Jesus did die for each and everyone of us. And for him I am eternally indebted to him for. Savior and I am glad I was able to suffer shame for His name

Wisconsin Culture: so in Mineral point which is 15 minutes away from Dodgeville. Anyways they were a mining town back then (now a cute touristy town) and they would dig into the side of cliffs and I guess the machines looked like Badgers. So if your wondering why the Wisconsin animal is the Badger or the mascot of our teams. Now you know why
