Joseph Smith

7/25/2022

Hello wonderful children of God!

So this week I was able to harvest Garlic at the Wood's Farm and guess what my hand smelled like after doing that? Yes you guessed it Garlic. It was a good time

Also went back to John (I just briefly mentioned him about how he gave me a banana and was listening to some vibey music and we taught him the restoration) and He wanted to buy us something from this coffee shop so I grabbed a muffin and in the Muffin there was coffee and he bought it for me before I knew there was coffee in it. I didn't know that they put coffee in things. I think I've been in Utah for too long haha. And it tasted pretty good. I'm just kidding! Jeez I wouldn't have eaten it haha come on now

Also another day we weren't finding any success and talking to people and nothing. Same with Facebook and as a missionary sometimes you get down on yourself for not maybe saying the right things or something thinking its my fault. Well at the end of every other night our District does devotionals and it was my turn to do it. So I had the thought come into my head to watch the video called "The Atonement and Missionary work" (I'll put the link of it down below) and it talks about, why aren't people just jumping into the water and getting baptized? Why is it so Hard? Then it talks about someone greater who asked for  His cup to be removed. That went through way greater than we will ever go through. And as disciples of Jesus Christ we will have to go through at least a little of what he went through, to shed one of His tears. Because Salvation was never a cheap experience. And that when we commit to be baptized and take upon us His name. That we will in one time or another be tried for what we stand for. To be a little bit shocked and tested.

Love you all so much! I know that we have a loving Savior who did exactly that, he saved each us from our sins and pains. And for that I am eternally grateful.

Wisconsin Culture: I'll just talk about Fireflies because I get to see them every night now : ) it so sweet! I don't know if they are in Utah but not where I was
