"He goes by milk"

9/5/2022

Hey Yall good morning : )

Well last week I accidentally sent my letter early that ruined my secret that I write on Sunday nights : )

This week was interesting. Got to go on Exchanges with Elder Madsen. What a great missionary we were in Madison and guess what the difference is between Dodgeville and Platteville? There's actually people that walk the streets it was way nice to see a constant flow of people.

I also forgot to say last week that they made a rule where we have to be out of our apartments by 10am and stay out until 9pm so that is definitely a change especially when we go to a park to talk to people and were the only ones there haha. So we basically just do Facebook outside because knocking doors in ineffective.

There was this guy on his porch and he was really out of it and anyways I don't have to go into everything but when I prayed for him I asked him if I could pray for anything and he said pray for my cousin Andrew he just barely had to get his legs amputated. Yea he goes by milk so call him milk in your prayer. Anyways it was an interesting encounter

I just want to share a spiritual thought with you all (I am a missionary after all) so When Peter walked on water he turned to the Savior right as he was drowning and reached out his hand. He turned immediately to the Savior. When I recently listened to a talk called "Look down the road" in preparation for zone conference I was reminded of a story Brother Tidwell gave in My home ward and he talked about his 2 or three year old daughter who was walking ahead of him and she was looking forward and out of sight of her dad and when they are about to cross the road she just sticks up her hand and assumes that Her dad will take her hand and obviously he did. We need to have the trust and faith of children. We need to trust the Lord and turn to God immediately. And I say these things in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Wisconsin Culture: I totally forgot to do a Wisconsin Culture last week so I'll do one to blow you out of the water. 2000 years ago Lake Superior (the lake called Lake Superior thinking its better than all lakes when really its a tiny ocean, boom roasted) had a crazy shift in its levels of the water content and what happened 2000 years ago Jesus Christ was killed and there were a bunch of earthquakes and fires and all kinds of stuff. And we know that those things happened because of the Book of Mormon. Now that is pretty insane

(Sorry this is a long letter 😁)

1. A bee waiting to be killed by Elder Robertson's shoe and it did the same thing with my shoe. This bee liked shoes haha (we did not kill it)

2. Beautiful green bay jacket. I figured out later it was a woman's jacket (sad face)

3. Barney

4. I love Jesus hat

5. Me and Elder Robertson

6. Me and Elder Madsen : )
