The Lord is my Shepard

9/12/2022

Well Hellowww everyone! Its good to see all of your smiling faces reading my letter : )

Jeff had his Baptism Yesterday! That was way cool to see Jeff Get baptized he is 65 years old and the funniest guy you'll ever meet he calls me and Elder Robertson Normal 1 and Normal 2 for some reason. : ) his Baptism was cool something crazy that happened now maybe its because I suck at technology but so be before the Baptism my keyboard worked on my phone. Right as I pulled it up at the Platteville Building where Jeff was getting baptized my keyboard on my phone didn't work so I couldn't do anything so I restarted my phone and even after restarting it my keyboard didn't work and I needed to put in my password after I reset my phone and it wasn't pulling up. So I take Elder Robertson's phone (with permission of course) and I sign out of his zoom and sign into mine and it actually worked and then I leave the Platteville building and my keyboard works perfectly fine. (I'm typing my letter on it right now) the adversary tried to maybe stop things or not let things happen but we pulled through: ) Jeff's baptism was way cool. Seeing someone start the covenant path is the best feeling ever to make them come closer to God and it is so great to be an instrument in the Lord's hands!

Also this week we helped at a fair in richland Center and the booth we had in the Richland Center Branch was about family history so I barely know how to do family history now but anyways right next to our booth was a seventh day Adventist booth and right as we took over the people that were there the preacher or whatever comes over and starts talking to us and this guy was never rude or mean at all but he started to talk about Revelations and the commandments, especially the commandment about the Sabbath day about how it should be on the end of the week which is Saturday and the whole time he was talking I just felt the spirit of Contention (even though I literally said nothing the whole hour) and I just want to testify that I have never felt the way I felt talking to that preacher in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This guy was trying to shake my testimony and instead he just made it that much stronger.

Hope you all have a great week! Go preach the Gospel to someone : )

Wisconsin Culture: because there are a lot of chipmunks and squirrels according to Elder Barkers research how many green grapes can be put in a chipmunks mouth? Now my initial thought was maybe 12 or 13 grapes. Then to my astonishment Elder Barker says that he saw a chipmunk hold 21 grapes in his mouth. Haha!
