Well first off I want to say this is to mothers and mother figures everywhere. That we love you and Happy Mothers day! (Especially my own mom, I'm a little bias towards her sorry)
This week had exchanges with Elder Hirschi and We were running around a lot talking to people and we were leaving to go to a ward chess activity and I get the prompting to talk to a lady across the street. So being the human that I am I didn't I justified myself that we were leaving and she was across the street. Then Elder Hirschi is praying to leave and asks for repentance about not talking to that lady so I go back outside and see her all the way down the street so we get in our car and drive down and then start running down the street and see a guy longboarding down the street and the spirit says talk to him so we did and he was way way cool. He had a lot of stuff happen to him one thing being he just lost his best friend yesterday and he loved the Book of Mormon. It was a crazy experience. Sadly we never met the lady who we were prompted to speak too.
Also first before I say this bless Elder Hirschi's heart. :
) So also in our exchange we were eating dinner and Elder Hirschis like I can
make this and this and then he says French toast so I'm like Well I won't pass
up French toasts so he grabs a container and puts milk in it and fills the milk
almost to the brim. Then puts 2 eggs in there and cinnamon. Then I say I
usually put more eggs than milk and then he says "I don't know this is the
first time I've made French toast all I know is that you have milk, eggs and
cinnamon" and I was dying it was really great
We also have been blessed with teaching a part member family where the mom is a member but the husband and two daughters aren't so the daughters made the decision to get baptized on May 14th its way cool! Hope all goes well with that
I have been trying to have more faith and even in rejection if you keep your faith it makes things much easier to take it because you have faith God has a plan for you! As well as if your going through anything right now keep the faith and don't stop saying your prayer or reading your scriptures because its too hard. But you need to especially be doing that in our rough times. I love you all lots and Watch out for deer!
Wisconsin Culture: they say "watch out for deer" here a lot and it was said for dads who loved their children but didn't want to say I love you so they said watch out for deer instead.
