The day after yesterday

Happy the day before Tomorrow!

This week was fun. President Hansen said "go out walking its only 20 degrees." So that is exactly what we did. So one day we were outside in the cold and we didn't see too many people for most of the walk. We talked to a couple of people but no one was interested. We had planned to give out one Book of Mormon on this walk but no one was interested in talking for more than a second. But when we were about 100 yards from our apartment, about to head inside, we see someone! So we talked to him (Tyler) and he accepted a Book of Mormon and an invitation to meet! And another surprise was that he was actually in our Area Book already! Missionaries hadn't been able to contact him for quite a little while. God is truly a 4th watch God and He works in the last minute and at the last door.

Something else that happened was we had Zone conference and that was so spirit led. One of the trainings that we got was by President Jacobs (a councilor to President Hansen) and he talked about scriptural examples when they say "here am I" and a translation for that is "Heneni" which basically means "I will do what thou commandest me" it is a willingness to do something even when you don't even know what that thing is. So as a missionary I signed up and said "Heneni" when wanting to serve a mission because I had no idea where I was going but I did it anyways. In life the Lord is going to ask us to do things we don't know or don't want to do. We should say "here am I" and the Blessings will come. Jesus loves you! And watch out for deer

Wisconsin Culture: something crazy that I didn't know is that there is no gambling in Wisconsin! Thats crazy they allow beer and cheese but no gambling. But I didn't know this because at the beginning of my mission in Fond du Lac they had slot machines everywhere and last Monday I figured out from a member that Fond du Lac is American Indian reservation land and so you can gamble on that. So kind of funny

4. Cool photo that if you are looking at the glass of the Rome Italy temple visitors center you can get the Christis statue and the Rome Italy temple all in the same shot kind of crazy. Elder Thompson did that
