Happy Mother's day! Thanks to all the amazing mothers out
there!
This week was a roller-coaster after a month we finally got Travis confirmed and it was a cool moment. The spirit was very strong in the sacrament meeting.
Miracle time! We lost contact with our friend Edward. He was not getting back with us for 3 days and he always gets back with us it's actually insane. Anyways so we go to his house on Friday night and a dude answers and asked "did you call him?" And we said "no that's why we're here" and then he said "well he must not be here" and shut the door on us. It was like some shared housing place that is why's someone else answered so that left us discouraged. But we go the next day and he is outside on the porch and I guess has been dealing with a lot lately. So was a way cool Miracle to find him there
Shannon, Raj, Joan, Callie and Mario are stil awesome. It's cool that their whole family is now baptized and they have come faithfully to church every week! It was so cute so the two youngest Callie and Raj sang with the primary kids in sacrament meeting for Mother's day and there were only like 8 primary kids. And so they were singing mother dear or something. I didn't really know because Raj, Callie and another little girl were yelling from the top of their lungs the words. It was so cute! Haha it was great. Jesus loves the little children. He asks us to be like a little child.
Jesus Christ lives. This is his work. I know the church is true.
Wisconsin Culture: it is so funny so there is a place called 3rd ward (not a ward but an area in Milwaukee) and it is richest of the rich that live there and then down the street it is the poorest of the poor. In 3rd ward there is no trash in the gutters or on the grass and on 1st street or 6th there most definitely is. And yes we had a 70 dollar steak from a rich member. It was good but my dad has made better steaks : )
