Oh Hey derrr!
So you know what's fun is when You see half naked babies walking around without any pants while their mom tries to put a diaper on them and your trying to teach a lesson. It is very hard to do so haha. Milwaukee is so fun! Once little kids had pants on, it went a lot better : ) that house though is always chaotic
We had two people this week say it is fine to smoke weed and drink because its in the Bible (the funny thing is that they couldn't back it up with anything in the Bible) I don't know what Bible people are reading these days. That is why we have the Book of Mormon haha
Something Sad that happened and awesome. Is we have our friend Portia and she can't get baptized because she has a trache and tube attached to her throat at all times. Also she doesn't have any vocal cords that work so we read her lips (That is where the gift of tongues comes in handy haha, sorry I thought it was kind of funny, but we really do pray for it) and so she can't get baptized and it would cost thousands of dollars to get her to the church because she would have to have paramedics and an ambulance. So its just not happening and she knows the church is true. So we are waiting to figure this out then our Assistants call us and say that they are trying to get her proxy baptized. Apparently you can do it to someone who is alive if you get approval from the first presidency! So we go into the lesson yesterday all happy with this news and she turns us down really hard and doesn't want to talk to us because she wants to be baptized by herself. The sad thing is is she has been so excited about baptism and when we say there is a way to receive the blessings of the Gospel she doesn't want it. It really sucked. We hope she turns around and wants it but its up to her so we are leaving it in the hands of the lord
I know that God lives. Everything denotes there is a Supreme Creator. We have infinite worth and potential to become like our Savior and inherit all he has. I have been studying about the Temple to prepare to go when I get back home and I know that it is the House of the Lord. Go! Go! Go! As much as you can. It is where you can received great knowledge from on high if we let it. Have faith in God's plan. It works.
