Yellow!
So this week was interesting hopefully you had a good 4th of July
Okay our friend Margaret is being baptized in a week and still needs a confirmation that the Book of Mormon is true (I know kind of weird) please help pray for a miracle because that is what she needs. Pray she can get an answer to her question. Other than that she is awesome! We hope everything works out. We're also teaching her son Derek and he's awesome! We put him on date for baptism as well he actually does the things we tell him to do! He also was amazed at the idea of being eith his family for eternity. I think that is something we take for granted but it's such a blessing
We met an interesting lady 10 doors down from were we live her name is Fran she had a crazy dog who even when he calmed down Fran said he will bite you if you try to pet him haha so we didn't. We talked to Fran and she didn't believe that there could be a Prophet on the earth. She didn't trust that there was anyone on the earth that could be a Prophet because the whole world is so wicked. She was also then talking about how the people she listens on Television could be prophets. It broke my heart because she wouldn't accept the True Gospel of Jesus Christ and she has had a horrible life. Everyone needs this church in their lives. It makes all of us better people. And what makes me sad is when they will never even pick up a Book of Mormon because of the negative things that people have heard about "Mormons". All we are asked to do is invite all to come unto christ.
Something awesome that happened this week is we got to have John Bytheway speak to us over zoom for an hour! He talked about where we need to Focus and point our lives toward, because we need a direction and he said to point our lives towards Jesus Christ. If we don't have that Iron Rod to hold onto we will get lost in the mist of darkness. Something that he said is applicable to everyone today "Don't let all the things you know be eclipsed by the few things you don't know" meaning don't let one single thing drag you down if you haven't found an answer to it. Hold tightly upon the things you do know.
I know that this church is Jesus Christ's church. He is at the head of it. Jesus Christ is my redeemer. He suffered, died, and rose from the grave so that we can overcome Temporal and spiritually death. I know Families can be together forever and I know that The only happiness we can find is through Him.
Watch out for deer! Hope the fam is good say hi to them for me : )
