What is up you spiritual savages

I am first going to say that I was transferred and my new companion is Elder Birchler he is from Switzerland. It's so cool! He's a great missionary and isn't afraid of talking to anyone it's great! He speaks Swiss German, German, French and English. All the girls are crazy for him I just feel like that guy who is the companion with the Swiss

I am also going to start out with a spiritual thought using one of our friends. So Douglas is a 70 year old man. Loves us missionaries, believes the Book of Mormon is True, and Joseph Smith is a Prophet. But when it comes down to it he is not willing to give up the church he has been at for the last 60 years and we have tried everything telling him to follow Jesus Christ and this is what he needs to do and my mind keeps on turning towards the young rich ruler how he said what must I do to gain eternal life? And Jesus Says keep the commandments and he says I am already doing these things and the Jesus throws down the ultimate cross he needs to bear and that is sell all that thou has and follow me. Then the rich young ruler left because he had great possessions. So Douglas doesn't want to give up his church (possessions) He doesn't see the blessing that could be his if he was baptized. The church is true and I haven't given up all I have to join it but it sometimes feels that way for the people we are teaching and they arnt committed enough to join. I hope that if Jesus told me to sell all that I have to gain eternal life the greatest of all the gifts of God

The baptism of Margaret never happened so keep her in your prayers to stay on the covenant path to lead to baptism and the temple. Same goes for her son Darrick

Also something funny is that we had a duck come close to us and Elder Birchler kept on calling it dinner as it Got closer so the Ducks name is now Dinner (don't worry we didnt eat it...yet)

I know that Jesus Christ Lives. He is the Son of God. Jesus is my Friend. I know Him. I come to know him everyday as I read the scriptures, and as I pray and repent and feel the saviors Grace. He can lift us up as we yoke ourselves to him and sometimes it feels like he is dragging us but as we do our part and keep his commandments he does the rest!

Wisconsin Culture: man I am running out of things to talk about but the addresses here are wack when it has an A after an address like 1116A N Washington St it could be in the same building or if you go into the back of it it could be a completely separate building. It is so hard to find people out here
