I don't know what to say... so
We had a lesson with Rachel and she has been taught everything she just has to overcome a word of wisdom issue. We read the story of alma the younger with her and she said she was glad we read this. I hope it gave her a little more hope.
Also found this guy named Donny and it was funny because I asked if he wanted to hear a message about Jesus Christ and he said "about what?" So I said "about how the heavens aren't closed but they're are open and that God speaks to a prophet today." And he's like "okay call me in 30 minutes I'm driving right now." So we call him in 30 minutes and he is at the kwik trip parking lot and he says how long will this take and we said 5 minutes so we taught him the restoration in 5 minutes and were going to drop off a Book of Mormon to him. He was also going "mhm" the whole time while we were speaking. It was a funny experience for some reason. I'm sure I was the only one that found it funny.
I just want to bare my testimony that I know this church is true. I know that it is run by a living Prophet and that God sent us his son Jesus Christ to Atone for our sins, pains, and afflictions. While he was suffering he was sore amazed by the pain he had to experience. But he did it because he loves us. He did it so we can return to live with Him and our Father in Heaven. I will thank him for forever for his priceless gift he has given to us all. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
God loves you, Jesus does too! And hope you had a Happy Easter!
Wisconsin Culture: I'm pretty sure any holiday is an excuse for wisconsinites to get out the grill and grill some brats and burgers. I mean I'm not complaining but that is what we had this Easter and I've had it for other holidays as well : )
