Well I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving weekend
I am completely dead writing this email but the show must go on. I'm pretty sure I have Covid I tested and it was negative 2 nights ago But I spent Thanksgiving with a family that now has Covid.
This week was fun I got to handsaw a Christmas tree for a member it was awesome. I was covered in Sap. Then we decorated the tree. Brother Metz was very thankful for us helping.
We've been teaching our recent convert Alex, he is awesome. He is moving on over to Kenosha now its kind of sad but thats how it goes.
It feels like a lot of people we're teaching have been not wanting to meet with us anymore. So I guess we will have to find more people or find them through the members:) I think the Lord sometimes refines us to build us up. Its rough but I still know that this church is true so who cares what happens
I have been thinking and we talked about in District Council. What is Testimony? Without Testimony me and this whole church would Crumble. Testimony is the thing that lead the Pioneers thousands of Miles to Utah. It is the thing that keeps us going when life gets hard. I have a testimony that I know that this is Christ's church and that the Book of Mormon is true. I'm grateful for that knowledge and everytime I read it, it witnesses to me that it is true. I hope all of you if you don't have a testimony that you should seek one out. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
Wisconsin Culture: funny story (I can't think of any Culture things) we called this lady Sheree and we shared with her the restoration and we got to Joseph Smith and we said do you know who he is and she said "yea" and we were like "oh thats way cool where do you know him from?" She said "the song" and we were like "The song?" And she said yea the song and started singing "John Jacob Jingle Joseph Smith his name is my name too..." haha it was awesome she was so genuine about it. It was great
-pictures of us chopping the tree down, having a Thanksgiving as a district, got some soap from Thanksgiving at the Bee home, us on a lesson with Alex and the picture with us and Elder Wong
